TESTIMONIALS…
“After struggling to try and find a powerful enough topic for my college essay, Darcy helped me realize that some of the best writing can come from the least likely places. I ultimately wrote about an experience that meant a lot to me, but I didn’t think would to anyone else. The admissions director at my college brought it up the first time we met!” — Brandon K., Colby College
“Darcy worked with both my son and my daughter. They were very different writers with very different approaches and styles, but Darcy was able to help each of them meet their goals. She was easy to work with and a valuable resource in the process while staying true to my kids’ own individual voices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.” — Libby G.
“Darcy assisted my twin boys with their college essays. She really tapped into who they were as individuals and how they could distinguish themselves in their essays since they applied to a few of the same schools. With Darcy’s direction, the essays proved to be unique and stood out which resulted in a handwritten message (and smiley face) from the VP of Enrollment Management acknowledging the impact of my son’s essay on his acceptance letter.” — Sasha T.
“Darcy helped me work through the common app prompts to find something that resonated with me and allowed me to tell colleges something meaningful about myself. Working with Darcy forced me to critically examine my own goals and helped me to develop my own voice through the essay.” — Erin G., University of Michigan, Ford School of Public Policy
"Darcy helped our son generate topics that would highlight his individuality and uniqueness. She understands young people and communicates with them effectively to bring out the best in their writing. Darcy's energy and motivation boosted our son's confidence to write a creative essay in his authentic voice."— Liz L.
"At the beginning of the college process I was feeling lost about what to write about for my main essay. Darcy gave me thorough guidance and direction and helped me formulate a batch of essays I could feel confident in. I'm very grateful for her expertise as it helped me get into my top choice college." — Mason P., Tulane University
